The Cotteswold Naturalists’ Field Club is one of the oldest of its kind in England. The Club has witnessed major advances in natural history, geology, agriculture, rural economy, archaeology and local history. However, little has changed in the intervening years, since its inauguration, in relation to the Club’s interests and sense of fellowship.

Our current activities include lectures (each month from October to May on the first Wednesday afternoon in Painswick, bar January, and on the third Tuesday afternoon in Box), day excursions, a 4 or 5 day annual trip, walks and socials. A taster of what the Club offers can be found on the Recent Lectures and Events pages.

Membership is open to all. Please select from the menu for further information.
